Welcome to The Old Police House

Tucked into the heart of Fishguard, The Old Police House is a home with a story to tell — and for the past five years, it's been lucky enough to be part of hundreds more.

Built in 1834 as a farmer's cottage and converted in 1844, this is a house that has watched Fishguard grow up around it. After 20 years standing empty and derelict, we fell for its bones in 2015 and spent four years bringing it lovingly back to life. Our first guests walked through the door in 2019 — and we haven't looked back since.

Today, The Old Police House sleeps 7 in a home full of original character (including its very own police cells— yes, really), with a sunny enclosed garden to relax in and the whole of North Pembrokeshire on your doorstep.

We're proud to hold a 5-Star Rating from Visit Wales and the Customer Choice Award on Cottages.com — but more than any award, it's the guestbook full of stories, return visits, and kind words that tells us we're doing something right.
